Vista Medical Center - Lindenhurst at 1050 Red Oak Lane, Lindenhurst, Illinois.

Vista in lindenhurst is the absolute worst .I took my daughter in for a headache she had for a couple of days, the Dr ordered a ct scan and after it was done he sent the nurse in with discharge papers. When asked if I could speak with the doctor the nurse said he was with other patients. Her discharge papers said coughing and they gave her no prescription to ease her symptoms. Upon arriving her headache was a 7, when leaving it was a 7 and the next morning it was still a 7. I called the er and asked what could be done and they said bring her back in. I expressed concern considering they would be charging me for both days and the first day was pretty pointless .The head of er was pretty much nonshalant and confirmed that the er is for emergencies and yes they would be charging me for both days.
I also saw the Dr due to muscle pain and a cough ,my previous visits they prescribed me a inhaler and something to relax my muscles (I have fibro and Ms )this time the Dr ,who didn't return after the ct scan of my daughter ,prescribed me robitussin and sent me on my way .
The same way me and my daughter arrived is the same way we were feeling when we left and the day after. Perhaps its due to my melanin however I cannot say for certain .However I do believe this hospital er just want the funds and are really not really into their oath of helping people feel better or at least at ease .Just take the extra trip to condell or McHenry to avoid wasted time and no relief .
